about

Tarzy-boy, a bumbling, loincloth-wetting prepubescent is chased out of his jungle home by a foul-smelling monster yobbo with twenty-three beer guts, Arch-eee-PONG!
Landing in the South Pole, Tarzy befriends Santa who helps him reclaim his birthplace and replace his title ‘Assistant Moniter of the Kiddies Pool’ with Mighty Lord of the Jungle.

Part hilarious send up, part coming of age, part fire origin myth, Tarzy-boy is a visual and musical treat for kids and parents alike.

An 18 minute ‘for kids’ tribute to Roald Dahl, Monty Python and Spike Milligan.

The full colour picture book will be released next year but, for now, listeners can download the aural fiction and a special PDF booklet with illustrations inspired by medieval manuscripts (I kid you not) and the stunning work of a nup and coming nine-year-old, Ishaan Mathew.

Play script adapted from short story Finalist, NT Literary Awards, 2015.

Lee also produces the infamous Radio KaraGkatsu! at Soundcloud. ... more
